Description
This is the historic Sanibel Lighthouse, Sanibel Island, Florida, USA, built in the 1800’s, this light and the adjacent buildings have withstood the test of time! The lighthouse is within a Sanibel municipal park on the south tip of the island.
If you look at the chimney top to the right of the lighthouse, you’ll see an Osprey bird nest right in the chimney!
This photograph was made on a 1961 Graflex Century Graphic bellows camera with a Xenar 105mm lens (the prime lens for this camera). The film used is 120 roll film from Rollei: Ortho 25 ASA B&W, with a 6.5×9 frame size. The front standard was shifted up 3cm in this shot to capture the top of the lighthouse while still maintaining a parallel plain to the vertical.
