William, this is an outstanding example of HDR with a person as the subject, it is one of my favorites. I would not hesitate to delete Al's comment.

William Wetmore replied:

Thanks, Andrew. I'm taking your advice!

Beautiful photo. Reminds me of a page in a childrens book called "Paddle To The Sea" by Holling Clancy Holling. Thank you for your vision.

As this is one of my most popular images, I've printed it 20x20 through fineartamerica, and will be showing it at the Shoot Miami meetup.com holiday (can I say it... Christmas) party at John Martin's pub in Coral Gables this coming Monday for their themed showing "Portraits." If you're in Miami, it's an excellent opportunity to see how incredibly beautiful a print from FineArtAmerica comes out- I'm very impressed with the quality of the final product. If you order this print, I recommend the "Picture Rag" ... it compliments the image nicely.

About William Wetmore

William Wetmore

I sincerely hope you find beauty and relevance in my images. For me, photography is a spiritual pursuit, almost a meditative practice, through which I appreciate the beauty of the world and share that appreciation with you. If you buy my artwork, please drop me an email to let me know what you liked about the image you chose! When I'm behind the camera, I seek out unusual subjects, new perspectives, and strive to capture the mood and totality of those subjects the way I see them. From minute details to wide vistas, each composition is considered and contemplated. I'm always looking for new ideas, and would be thrilled if you suggest topics of interest for me to attempt to capture. And, if you see something in here that you like, but...
