Wow! How do you do this? It is like your camera was on LSD. This is such an amazing photo and so rich in color and depth. Wow. So amazing.

Great comment, Jennifer! Actually this was a simple HDR... I was as surprised as you when the textures on these leaves came out so incredibly. The process involves taking three exposures, so I set up on a tripod (at quite a bizarre angle) over the waterlilies, then set my camera to AEB- which takes the three exposures each two stops or so apart. I did have it at a fairly high ISO which helps with textures. Then I take the images into a program called Photomatix (I use a pluging to my main photo application Aperture on my Mac), and adjust the gamma, contrast, saturation, in a process that combines all three images called "tonemapping" ... that brings out colors and details that normal single shot images just don't capture.
