This is one of the "mitten" buttes in Monument Valley, Arizona (on the boarder with Utah), as captured during a summer sunrise. The rays of the sun can be seen beaming down on the desert scene, with a dusty cast to the sky. Monument Valley is within the Navajo Nation.
